Anyway, to point. I believe at least some physicists are up to 11 dimensions now and they're using terms like P-Branes (and giggling) and others are dismissing the whole string theory as just something to do while we wait for a new Stephen Hawking or Einstein to come and tell us all the universe is really made out of triangles (remember: you heard it here first).
Anyone remember when scientists did cool stuff like weighing the earth, growing ears on the backs of Mice, and inventing magic sand?
In short, we're in no immediate danger from theorietical physics, but caution should be maintained around the areas of fuzzy woblets, inverse supracautionism and gongleworms.
