I'm Nico. Over the years I posted as Ainvar, sometimes as TheLoneliestMonk (masquerades exluded).
I started reading rj somewhere in the early nineties and started posting/chatting at Dru's Pacific Pages sometime in the first half of the nineties. My memory is not as acutely as yours, maybe Bili knows when, I recall welcoming him. I think wota, wot.org and some other communites merged into dru's and am still gratefull Todd, and later on Matt and Donna kept it going somehow over the years after Max puled out.
I've met Bair, Darkhound and Tel janin, for very foggy reasons missed the memphis gathering (still yearning for an understanding of Oswald, been to two amsterdam gatherings, but I can only recall Tel Janin and the woman he fell in love with there, and married I think.
For the past three years I've been working for a restauration contractor specialising in national heritage and monuments, wich is serious serious fun
I'm considering getting a bachelor in constructionlaw, am doing a masters in construction, am done in considering another relation or ever falling in love again for that matter, am very much in love with my crossbreed english setter/springer spaniel jesse, aka canine jess, am trying to get some free time saved up hit the world again and am so very glad this community is still going. Plenty new faces, plenty old, allways good sincere compagny. cheers!
